Morse was appointed by Wates Construction to assist the project team with the prestigious restoration and refurbishment of the Grade I listed historic building, the East Wing of Somerset House, London on behalf of Kings College London.

Morse worked closely with the Wates team, specialist contractors and English Heritage undertaking surveys to provide specialist record information of the building's historic elements such as the original stone staircases, windows, floorboards, joinery, plaster, the main roof and exterior stonework.

Morse Consultants played a key role in highlighting the current condition and the extent of repairs as well as providing schedules of work required within this considerable and complex refurbishment.
