Project Overview
Morse Consultants was appointed by the College of Occupational Therapists to project manage the refurbishment of its headquarters in London and to perform the health and safety role required as CDM Co-ordinators.
Morse Consultants split the works into three different stages – the temporary relocation to a serviced office, including lease review, space planning and dilapidations (Phase 1), the strip out of the property (Phase 2) and the refurbishment and roof renewal works (Phase 3) which was completed in January 2011.
Morse was involved at project inception through to final completion by establishing the client’s brief and working with architects and other consultants to produce a detailed specification. This included obtaining competitive tenders for the contract works and producing and managing the project budget to refurbish the existing upper floor offices and ground floor meeting and lecture spaces.
