Morse has been appointed to carry out a pre-acquisition advice, undertake a schedule of condition, act as Principal Designer under the CDM regs and manage the Building Regulation application on the fit out of a new property in Straiton Retail Park, Edinburgh.

A total of 3 units will be joined into 1 property to provide another 'slowroom' for the furniture brand, which has used Morse for its professional property services since opening its first showroom.

"We have been working with Loaf for a number of years now to provide building surveying and other services as it acquires and fits out premises. We are appointed at the point of a schedule of condition to record the condition of the property and protect the tenant's interests and limit future liabilities. We then work with the shop team as Principal Designers, making sure the company complies with CDM 2015 regulations," said Steve Hogevold, Managing Director of Morse. "We are really looking forward to working with Loaf and helping them continue with their important expansion with its retail outlets."
