Morse Consultants' Managing Director Steve Hogevold has raised over £1000 for Children's Hospice South West as part of a charity cycle ride.

The Marcus Trescothick Testimonial Bike Ride from Bristol to St Austell visited the three hospices run by the charity as part of the challenge.  Steve joined the team on Thursday 12th October and travelled from Exeter to St Austell, finishing at the Little Harbour hospice on Friday 13th.

"The weather was awful so we had to put in some of our miles at a local gym on the Friday, but we are proud to have completed the challenge and raised some good money for Children's Hospice South West," said Steve.  "There were a lot of hills in Devon and Cornwall and it was painful and tricky in the weather conditions, but it was a great team spirit and so amazing to see how much our money helps those families in need of support.  I'd like to thank all of my friends, family and work colleagues for their generous donations which enabled me to hand over this amazing sum to Marcus and the team."

The total raised by Steve including gift aid was £1113.  The total raised by the team was over £18000.
